Making To Do Lists

Go around your house this weekend (with your partner/spouse if you have one) and make a list of all the things that need to be done (holes fixed in walls, caulking on windows, new front door paint etc…) Then assign a number to them in order of importance (1 being top priority and 5 being wait till next year).

Next, write out the list again on the computer by month and what you think you can get accomplished financially and timewise each month to get you to your goals.

Go to your calendar and start penciling in times when you can work on your projects (or shop for, call around, research).
You will be able to accomplish so much more now that you have written it down and made a plan. If something unexpected comes up, then just refocus this month’s to-do list for next months.
