Blossom Into The Person You Want To Become

“And the day came, When the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” – Anais Nin

What does this quote mean for you?

I feel like those people who have had trauma in their life and have been made to feel small and worthless have curled up into a bud to try to avoid more pain.

I see this again and again in my line of work. Clients are using material things to replace other things that are missing from their lives.

They are dealing with grief, anxiety, depression, PTSD, sadness and shopping makes them happy (even if it is a fleeting happiness). Then they have to deal with the repercussions of clutter and often debt and fighting within the family.

By releasing the clutter and material things that serve no purpose in their lives, this will also help release all the negative energy that came with it.

Allowing room for positive energy to flow, relationships to grow and debt to be paid off will make room for new opportunities.

It will make room for you to blossom and find joy in other things in your life.

Go back to hobbies you have enjoyed in the past or take up new ones. Reconnect with friends and family that you may have been avoiding while you were in your “bud” state. Learn to live with less stuff and enrich your life with experiences.

Blossom into the person you want to become.

I also highly suggest that if you are dealing with these feelings in your life that you seek out a therapist that you connect with as well as a decluttering team to help make the process smoother.

Here is another post I wrote to encourage good mental health and self-care.
